British heavyweight Dereck Chisora shared his thoughts on a possible matchup between Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul. According to the insider, the negotiations between them are entering the final stage.
“Joshua took a one-year break — for him this will be an easy fight. And honestly, we shouldn’t even keep talking about it, because Anthony won’t go in there just to pat someone on the back — Joshua will destroy him.
But I’ll tell Joshua one thing: don’t let that guy knock you out. Because that would be a damn nightmare for life.
Anthony should deal with him in three rounds, kill him the way he killed Francis Ngannou. If Paul knocks Joshua out — that would be the biggest upset in boxing history. But it’s not going to happen,” Chisora said.
Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) hasn’t fought since being stopped by Daniel Dubois in 2024.
Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) had his November fight fall through after Gervonta Davis withdrew. Paul is expected to return to the ring in December 2025.
