Jack Catterall Knocks Out Ekow Essuman in the 11th Round

On November 15 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, on the undercard of Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn 2, British contenders Jack Catterall and Ekow Essuman met for the WBO Global title.

Catterall scored a knockdown in the 4th round, though he later suffered a cut himself. In the 11th round, he secured a spectacular stoppage victory by sending Essuman through the ropes.

For Essuman (22-2, 8 KO), this was his first fight since his win over Josh Taylor.

Catterall (32-2, 14 KO) earned his second straight stoppage victory.
