Former world champion and TV analyst Timothy Bradley is confident David Benavidez will beat Anthony Yarde.
“Yarde’s going to get a hiding—he’ll be crushed and knocked out. He’ll fight, but minute by minute he’ll drain away. They’ll just beat him up.
He might have a few good rounds, but it’ll be like a spider caught in a web. Benavidez will lump him up. He’s simply too big.
Yes, Anthony’s a good fighter, but this isn’t the style that suits him.
Neither had a deep amateur background, but Benavidez has been in with plenty of champions. He learned a lot in the gym already,” Bradley said.
The WBC light heavyweight title will be on the line when Benavidez (30-0, 24 KOs) meets Yarde (26-3, 24 KOs) on 22 November in Riyadh.
In his last outing, David Benavidez defeated Cuba’s David Morrell on points. Earlier this spring, Anthony Yarde outboxed Lyndon Arthur, closing out their trilogy with a series-clinching win.
