Big Boxing Night in Kyiv by Top Boxing Generation

On September 28, a boxing tournament organized by the promotion company Top Boxing Generation will take place at Stereo Plaza in Kyiv, Ukraine.

In the main event of the evening, two Ukrainian fighters, Nazri Rahimov (14-3, 8 KOs) and Andrii Boryshpolets (9-2, 4 KOs), will square off for the Ukrainian Professional Boxing Title and the WBC Ukraine Title at super lightweight (up to 63.5 kg).

Both fighters last fought on March 30 at the same venue: Rahimov won by 2nd round TKO over Colombian Jorge Moya (15-6-1, 4 KOs), securing his fifth consecutive victory. Boryshpolets, on the other hand, claimed a unanimous decision victory over fellow Ukrainian Anatolii Savenko (0-2).

If Rahimov wins, he could become the first fighter in history to hold the Ukrainian Professional Title in two weight divisions—he captured the lightweight title back in December 2021.

The event will feature at least 9 more bouts, including a clash between Ukrainian super lightweight prospect Yanis Kurilenko (11-1, 8 KOs) and Moldova’s Gennadi Ghitlan (3-13, 0 KOs).

Heavyweights Oleksandr Pylypchuk (7-1, 6 KOs) and Pavlo Yuskiv (5-0, 2 KOs) will also return to the ring. Additionally, multiple-time world kickboxing champion Oleksandr Drozd will compete in his sixth professional boxing match.
