Bellew Believes Fight with Wilder is Risky for Usyk

Former world champion and ex-opponent of Oleksandr Usyk, the Briton Tony Bellew, evaluated a potential match-up between the Ukrainian and the American Deontay Wilder.

“It's an interesting fight. I actually think Wilder is punch-shy. I think for him, the Usyk fight could be a huge threat. I won't lie, there is no point in saying it is not. But the last thing you lose is your punch.

It will be interesting if he lands his shot. Because no matter what, Deontay Wilder is still the biggest puncher in boxing.

Even if he is a little bit punch-shy, he has more power in one punch than anyone else in the world. I truly believe that. So, it is a risky fight,” said Bellew.

Usyk (24-0, 15 KOs) personally stated his desire to meet Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs). Currently, there is no agreement for the bout.
