In the early hours of December 20 at the Kaseya Center in Miami, Florida, USA, an eight-round heavyweight bout (over 90.7 kg) took place between American influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul (12-2, 7 KOs) and former world champion from Britain Anthony Joshua (29-4, 26 KOs).
The fight ended in a stoppage win for Joshua — the Briton dropped Jake twice in the fifth round and twice more in the sixth, after which the referee stepped in to halt the bout. KO 6.
In June, Jake defeated Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. via unanimous decision. This defeat is Paul’s first since February 2023, when he lost a split decision to Tommy Fury.
For Joshua, this was his first fight since September 2024, when the Briton was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.
