
Undisputed Super Middleweight Champion Terence Crawford has officially vacated the WBA title at Super Welterweight, ESPN insider Salvador Rodriguez reported.
As a result, 30-year-old German Abass Barou (17-1, 9 KOs) has been elevated to full WBA champion in the division. On August 24, Barou defeated Cuban Yoenis Tellez (10-1, 7 KOs) by unanimous decision to claim the WBA interim belt.
On September 13, Terence Crawford (42-0, 31 KOs) defeated Saul Alvarez by unanimous decision, becoming the first undisputed world champion in three weight divisions in the four-belt era.
