Tyson's Former Sparring Partner Wants to Fight Paul

Mike Tyson's former sparring partner, 59-year-old Joe Egan, has taken to social media to challenge blogger and former boxer Logan Paul to a fight. The Irishman hopes to meet Logan on the undercard of the bout between blogger-boxer Jake Paul (9-1, 6 KOs) and former undisputed champion Mike Tyson.

"Hello, Logan Paul, my name is Joe Egan. I am a seven-time Irish boxing champion and the sparring partner of the great Mike Tyson.

Your brother Jake Paul is going to box. I admire this man for having the courage to box one of the most ferocious punchers of our era.

Now listen, John Fury doesn't have that courage. I made the first move, but he didn't want to hear about it. Soft as shit, John Fury. I'm sure you, like your brother, have enough courage. Why don't we have a fight?

You boxed Dillon Danis and beat him badly. I know he offended you, and you did right by beating him.

I certainly won't offend you; two fighters just coming together and exchanging punches, and may the best man win.

Looking forward to your response, Logan. When you talk to your brother Jake, wish him all the best. God bless you both," Egan said in his video message.

Joe Egan had previously challenged Tyson Fury's father, John, but was turned down.

The fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is scheduled for July 20th at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The tournament will be broadcast on Netflix. It is currently unknown whether the fight will be exhibition or official.
