All the Winners of The Ring Awards 2024

A ceremony hosted by The Ring magazine took place in London, UK, honoring the standout moments and personalities of the boxing world in 2024.

Round of the Year (2024):

The 9th round of the first bout between the WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23–0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34–2–1, 24 KOs).

Event of the Year:

The first Usyk–Fury fight, held on May 18, which featured the first undisputed heavyweight championship (over 90.7 kg) since 1999.

Fighter of the Year:

Ukrainian Oleksandr Usyk, who scored two victories in 2024 over the previously unbeaten Tyson Fury.

Knockout of the Year:

The clash between IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (22–2, 21 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (28–4, 25 KOs) on September 21. Dubois sent Joshua to the canvas in the 1st, 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounds.

Comeback of the Year:

Billy Dib (49–6, 27 KOs).

Upset of the Year:

Bruno Surache (26–0–2, 5 KOs) defeating Jaime Munguia (44–2, 35 KOs). Surache was knocked down in the 2nd round, but ultimately secured the knockout with a pinpoint blow in the 6th.

Prospect of the Year:

Britain’s Moses Itauma (11–0, 9 KOs).

Trainer of the Year:

Robert Garcia.

Fight of the Year:

Otabek Kholmatov (12–1, 11 KOs) vs. Raymond Ford (16–1–1, 8 KOs). Ford won by a 12th-round TKO.

Female Fighter of the Year:

Gabriela Fundora (15–0, 7 KOs).
