WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) has disclosed which fight earned him the biggest purse of his career.

"Saudi money is different. The fight against Padley was the most money I’ve ever made in boxing. The biggest payday of my career—nothing else comes close.

Yeah, Turki is the man. He’s saving boxing, making the best fight the best," Shakur told.

Stevenson defeated Padley by TKO in the ninth round on February 22 in Saudi Arabia. It was his first fight in the country, and it seems it was also his most lucrative.
