Official: Jose Valenzuela Will Return to the Ring at Dana White’s Second Zuffa Boxing Tournament

It has been officially announced that former world champion Jose Valenzuela will hold a fight at the Z02 tournament from the debut boxing promotion Zuffa Boxing. His opponent will be Diego Torres. The bout will take place at a Catchweight and is scheduled for 10 rounds.

The Z02 tournament will take place on February 1. Previously, information appeared that within the framework of this same tournament, the Gvozdyk – Kalajdzic duel could take place.

Jose Valenzuela (14-3, 9 KOs) last boxed in the spring of 2025 – he lost by judges' decision to Gary Antuanne Russell. Diego Torres (22-1, 19 KOs) last entered the ring in the summer of 2025 – he won by technical knockout in the 5th round.
