Mike Tyson and Parkinson’s Disease: What’s Really Happening?

A surprising statement from YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul has stirred the boxing community. He claimed that Mike Tyson had Parkinson’s disease before their fight. Paul made this comment in a recent video.

"Ayahuasca is really good for your brain. Same with the frog. The frog is what cured Tyson’s Parkinson’s so he could return to the ring," Paul said.

This statement immediately sparked reactions from fans and Tyson’s team, who firmly denied the claim:

"Mike is happy and completely healthy. He does not have Parkinson’s or any other illness," said an official statement.

Jake Paul later clarified his remarks, admitting he misspoke:

"Mike Tyson never had Parkinson’s. Why the hell is the internet so dumb? I misspoke. What I meant was that he used the frog to heal his pain.

He has talked about this many times, just like I have. Like many others have," Paul explained.

The Paul vs. Tyson fight took place in fall 2024, with Jake Paul winning by decision.
