Former world champion Floyd Mayweather has released a video in which WBC lightweight champion Shakur Stevenson (21-0, 10 KOs) challenges WBA champion Gervonta Davis (29-0, 27 KOs) to a fight.
"Look, man. I want to fight you. Gervonta 'Tank' Davis, let's make the fight happen. I'm tired of talking about it. Stop running from me and let's make the fight happen. Let's go," Shakur declared.
Floyd Mayweather has long worked with Gervonta Davis as a promoter. Before the fight with Ryan Garcia, both Floyd and Gervonta announced they were no longer working together, but during the fight, Mayweather supported Davis and accompanied him to the ring.
The video featuring Stevenson was posted by Mayweather amidst a new conflict with Davis, which started after Davis claimed that Mayweather was not allowed to leave the UAE due to debts, to which Mayweather responded by calling the WBA champion gay.
