Lewis Crocker Crowned New IBF Welterweight Champion

On September 13 at Windsor Park in Belfast, Northern Ireland, the main event featured a rematch between Lewis Crocker (22-0, 11 KOs) and Paddy Donovan (14-2, 11 KOs) for the vacant IBF Welterweight title (66.7 kg limit).

The fight went the distance and ended with Crocker winning by split decision. The judges scored it 115-111 for Donovan, 114-112 for Crocker, and 114-113 for Crocker. Donovan was knocked down in the third and fifth rounds.

The first fight between Crocker and Donovan took place on March 1 and ended with a victory for Lewis. In the eighth round, Donovan dropped Crocker after the bell, leading the referee to disqualify Paddy.
