American lightweight prospect Keyshawn Davis (12-0, 8 KOs) has revealed that his next fight will be against WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk (19-0, 9 KOs).
“I’m not ready to reveal the location yet, but I know for sure that Denys Berinchyk will be my next opponent. He’s an undefeated fighter who always brings pressure. He’s from Ukraine and a friend of Lomachenko and Usyk. He’s a great fighter.
I feel like people underestimate him, which is crazy. We were supposed to fight last year, but now that he’s become a world champion, it’s even better. I’m confident this fight will be another exciting showdown.
This definitely won’t be a boring fight. I know people will come out to support us and see what ‘The Businessman’ has to show that night,” Davis stated.
On November 8, Davis knocked out Gustavo Lemos (29-2, 19 KOs) in the second round. In May, Denys Berinchyk defeated Emanuel Navarrete (38-2-1, 31 KOs) to claim the world title.
