Key Rules for Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul: Weight, Gloves, Number of Rounds

On November 17, it was officially announced that Jake Paul will face Anthony Joshua. The fight will take place on December 19, 2025, in Miami at the Kaseya Center.

According to reporting from The Ring, the key conditions for the upcoming bout are as follows:

– As stated in the announcement, this will be an official fight, not an exhibition. Its result will enter both fighters’ professional records.

– The fighters will wear 10-ounce gloves.

– The bout is scheduled for a maximum of 8 rounds of 3 minutes each.

– Anthony Joshua must weigh no more than 245 pounds (111.13 kg).

The fight will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Jake Paul was originally supposed to face Gervonta Davis in November, but the bout was canceled. Anthony Joshua has not fought since 2024, when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois.
