Hearn Refuses to Accept Eubank's Bet on Benn Fight

Promoter Eddie Hearn has refused to accept a £1 million bet on the fight between Conor Benn and Chris Eubank. Previously, Hearn himself had told Benn’s promoter that he was willing to wager a million on the bout. Later, Eubank responded by saying he was ready to take the bet—but only if they used their own personal funds.

"Yeah, very clever. Just a publicity stunt. But the truth is, promoters aren't allowed to place bets. The British Boxing Board of Control keeps a close eye on this and even sent me an email reminder outlining the regulations.

That's exactly why Chris Eubank posted that video. He knew I couldn't place a bet on the fight," Hearn explained.

The Eubank vs. Benn fight is set to take place on April 26 in London, UK.
