Fury Calls "The Future of the Heavyweight Division"

WBC heavyweight world champion, British boxer Tyson Fury, confidently stated that 19-year-old Moses Itauma (7-0, 5 KOs) will be successful in the heavyweight division.

"Itauma is the future of the heavyweight division," Fury wrote on Instagram.

Itauma served as Fury's sparring partner during his preparation for the bout against Oleksandr Usyk, before the fight was rescheduled to May 18. Moses turned professional in 2023, stating his desire to become the boxer who beats Mike Tyson's record as the youngest world champion in heavyweight history.

So far, Itauma has not fought in more than 6-round matches.

The Usyk vs. Fury fight is scheduled for May 18 in Saudi Arabia.
