British IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs) has expressed his desire for a rematch with Ukrainian WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs).
"I need to get back in the ring and right the wrong. Usyk and I definitely have unfinished business, and it's part of my climb to the top. I was in a dark place before, but now I'm stepping into the light, and I need to settle the score.
A win over Joshua will elevate me to the top. It will certainly make me the king," Dubois said.
In August 2023, Oleksandr Usyk knocked out Daniel Dubois in the 9th round. Dubois is set to face fellow Brit Anthony Joshua (28-3, 25 KOs) on September 21 at Wembley Stadium in London, UK. The winner is likely to contend for the victor of the rematch between Usyk and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs), which will take place on December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
