Commentator Questions Doctor's Decision in Tszyu-Fundora Fight

Commentator Ben Damon voiced his opinion on the bout between former champion Tim Tszyu (24-1, 17 KOs) and the WBC and WBO super welterweight (up to 69,9 kg) champion Sebastian Fundora (21-1-1, 13 KOs).

"There's no point in having a doctor if he's not prepared to stop the fight when one of the fighters has been hit with an axe.

It's incredible that the fight wasn't stopped at the end of the second round," Damon stated.

On the night of March 31st, during the fight between Tim Tszyu and Sebastian Fundora, both boxers were bleeding by the second round: Sebastian had bleeding from his nose and mouth, while Tim suffered a cut after colliding with his opponent's elbow.

The fight lasted all 12 rounds and ended with Fundora winning by a split decision.
