Deontay Wilder — Derek Chisora Fight Close to Agreement: American’s Manager Confirms Negotiations

The manager of the former Heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder, Shelly Finkel, commented on rumors about a possible fight between his client and Briton Derek Chisora.

“We are negotiating, and they are close to completion,” stated Finkel.

Queensberry Promotions did not comment on negotiations regarding this fight – they represent Chisora’s interests.

Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) and Chisora (36-13, 23 KOs) could meet in the spring of 2026. This fight will become the 50th and, likely, the last in Derek’s career. Previously, Deontay was repeatedly linked with Oleksandr Usyk – the champion himself challenged the American.
