Usyk’s Manager Confirms: Fight Against Wilder Won’t Be Part of Riyadh Season

Egis Klimas, manager of the three-time undisputed world champion Oleksandr Usyk, shared details regarding negotiations for a bout between his client and former heavyweight world champion Deontay Wilder.

“It’s a different group of organizers from the United States. Not Riyadh Season. It’s not official yet, so I can’t tell you [more].

I can’t say that he won’t fight at Riyadh Season events ever again. He might, but currently, we don’t have any offers or anything like that from them.

As Usyk says, he has at least two more years left. I can’t get under his skin, but he feels strong. It’s not time for him to hang up the gloves yet; he’s ready to continue,” Klimas stated.

It was Usyk who initially challenged Deontay Wilder to a fight. At this time, no official agreement for the match has been announced.
