Usyk on Becoming Undisputed: “It Will Be a Gift for My Daughter”

Unified WBA, WBC, WBO & IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) has revealed whom he plans to dedicate a third undisputed crown to, should he defeat Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

“Becoming undisputed for the third time is a huge opportunity for me. But I’ll give that belt to my youngest daughter, Maria, because my eldest daughter, Elizabeth, already has a gold medal (from the Olympics).

My son Kyrylo received the first undisputed belt at cruiserweight, and Mykhailo got the second one. Now it’s Maria’s turn. God willing, I win—and this belt will be my gift to her,” Usyk said.
