WBO Junior Welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez has named the fighter he considers the leader of the current pound-for-pound (P4P) rankings.
“Naoya Inoue is P4P #1 in the world and, to be honest, my favorite fighter of this era...” Lopez said.
Naoya Inoue (31-0, 27 KOs) will have his next fight on December 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This will be his fourth bout of the year. If the Japanese star wins, he will become the first boxer since Larry Holmes to defend The Ring title four times within a single calendar year.
