Mbilli or Pacheco: Sheeraz Has Chosen an Opponent

According to the publication Boxing Scene, British Super Middleweight boxer Hamza Sheeraz is intending to box against American Diego Pacheco for the WBO belt, which Terence Crawford vacated after announcing the conclusion of his career.

Previously, Sheeraz had a choice between Pacheco and Christian Mbilli. The WBO ordered a fight against Diego for its belt, and the WBC — against Christian, where the Council's belt would also have been at stake.

A person close to the negotiation process told the publication that on Tuesday purse bids will bring final clarity to the issue of organizing the duel.

Hamza Sheeraz has fought one bout in the Super Middleweight division. In the debut meeting, he knocked out Edgar Berlanga in the fifth round.
