American boxer Ryan Garcia recalled his fight against current WBO Welterweight champion Devin Haney. In that bout, Ryan dropped his opponent and won by decision. However, the fight was later ruled a no-contest due to Garcia’s positive doping tests.

“I’m still going to show him who’s the boss here, who his real father is.

Bill isn’t his real father — I’m his real father. I want you to go to his page and tell him that.

When you got beat from start to finish… I’m his real father, and that’s facts,” said Garcia.

After that fight, Ryan boxed once — he lost to Rolando Romero. His next opponent will be Mario Barrios, the WBC Welterweight champion.

Devin Haney has fought twice since that meeting — defeating Jose Carlos Ramirez and Brian Norman by decision. After the second fight, Devin became the WBO champion at Welterweight.
