Ryan Garcia: “I’ll bring Haney back to reality again”

Ryan Garcia has shared his thoughts on a possible rematch with WBO welterweight champion Devin Haney — and says he’s ready to prove his point all over again.

“I really want all of it, seriously. I’m tired of their talking: ‘If he didn’t cheat…’ — I didn’t cheat, f***. Anyone who actually looked into it knows I didn’t have any real advantage, and even Haney’s people know that.

But if they want to walk into a fight with that illusion, go ahead — because I’ll bring them back to reality again. And this time I won’t be polite. Same behavior, same ass-whooping, same energy.

I know you better than you know yourself, that’s it. The only one who’ll be trying to save Devin is Bill,” Garcia said.

On November 23, Devin Haney (33–0, 15 KO) defeated Brian Norman by unanimous decision.

Earlier, Ryan Garcia (24–2, 20 KO) announced he had signed to fight WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
