Official: Arnold Khegai Named as Rafael Espinoza’s Next Opponent

It’s now official — WBO Featherweight Champion Rafael Espinoza has his next fight confirmed. The 31-year-old Mexican will defend his title against 33-year-old Ukrainian contender Arnold Khegai.

The bout is scheduled for November 15 in San Luis Potosí, Mexico.

For Espinoza (27-0, 23 KOs), this will be his fourth title defense, with all previous defenses ending by stoppage. Khegai (23-2-1, 14 KOs) earned this opportunity after defeating Venezuela’s Liborio Solís in his most recent fight.
