Plant and Reséndiz Make Weight Ahead of Clash

On May 31, in Las Vegas, USA, interim WBA super middleweight champion Caleb Plant (23-2, 14 KOs) will face José Antonio Reséndiz (15-2, 11 KOs) in a 76.2 kg (168 lbs) matchup.

At the official weigh-in, both fighters made weight:

– Caleb Plant — 75.84 kg

– José Antonio Reséndiz — 75.75 kg

Back in September, Plant rebounded from a loss to David Benavidez by stopping Trevor McCumby via ninth-round TKO.

In February, Reséndiz scored a fifth-round TKO over Fernando Paliza, bouncing back from a defeat to Elijah Garcia.
