Joseph Parker: “A Fight with Usyk Is My Dream”

Interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker says he dreams of facing unified WBA, WBC, WBO & IBO title‑holder Oleksandr Usyk.

“A fight with Usyk is my dream. I’d really like to test myself against an opponent of that calibre.

I think he’ll keep boxing; he’s interested in big fights with big purses. He’s achieved everything a fighter can strive for. And my dream is to step in against him,” Parker said.

On 19 July at Wembley Stadium in London, Oleksandr Usyk (23‑0, 14 KOs) defends the undisputed heavyweight crown against Daniel Dubois (22‑2, 21 KOs). Full analytics and detailed fight statistics are available at the link.

Joseph Parker (36‑3, 24 KOs) last fought in February, stopping Martin Bakole in the second round. Parker had originally been slated to face Dubois, but the Briton withdrew due to illness.
