Official: Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson to Fight on January 31

A fight between WBO Junior Welterweight champion Teofimo Lopez and WBC Lightweight titleholder Shakur Stevenson has been officially announced.

The showdown will headline The Ring VI on January 31 in New York, USA. On the line will be the WBO and The Ring titles held by Lopez. The event will be streamed on DAZN.

Teofimo Lopez (22-1, 13 KOs) last fought in May, when he defeated Arnold Barboza by unanimous decision.

In July, Shakur Stevenson (24-0, 11 KOs) outboxed William Zepeda by unanimous decision.
