Official: Canelo to Face Berlanga

Premier Boxing Champions has announced the next bout for undisputed super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs).

On September 14, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, he will face American of Puerto Rican descent Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs). The boxing night will be broadcast on Amazon Prime Video.

In his previous fight, Berlanga knocked out Padraig McCrory (18-1, 9 KOs) in the 6th round. Canelo outboxed Jaime Munguia (43-1, 34 KOs) by decision, handing him the first loss of his career.

On the same night, UFC 306 will also take place in Las Vegas, expected to be held at the "Sphere" arena, with the main event featuring Merab Dvalishvili against champion Sean O'Malley.
