“It Takes Time.” Oscar De La Hoya Speaks on New Agreement With DAZN

Golden Boy Promotions founder and CEO Oscar De La Hoya has shared details of ongoing negotiations with streaming platform DAZN regarding a new contract. The previous agreement expired on December 31, 2025.

“We’ve been in negotiations for quite some time now. We have a great relationship with DAZN. The contract is complex, so it takes time, but we continue working to bring the best boxing to the United States.

We started talks back in October, November, even September of last year. The contract is so complex that it simply requires time,” De La Hoya said.
