The bout between 21-year-old British Heavyweight prospect Moses Itauma and 32-year-old American Jermaine Franklin has been postponed.
As reported by the promotional company Queensberry Promotions, which represents Itauma's interests, the Briton sustained an injury, due to which the fight will take place at the end of March.
“Moses Itauma has sustained an injury in camp for his fight with Jermaine Franklin on 24th January.
Due to this, the whole Magnificent 7 show has been postponed and moved to the new date of 28th March at the Co-op Live in Manchester,” stated the Queensberry announcement.
In August, Moses Itauma (13-0, 11 KOs) defeated Dillian Whyte by technical knockout in the first round. The Briton is on a streak of nine stoppage victories in a row.
Jermaine Franklin (24-2, 15 KOs) in September defeated Ivan Dychko by unanimous decision.
