Krassyuk talked about the difficulties in negotiations with the Fury team

Alex Krassyuk, the promoter behind WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO titleholder Oleksandr Usyk, has shared his optimism about reaching a prompt agreement for the unification bout with WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury. However, the Ukrainian team is standing firm on their demand for an equal distribution of income from the match.

"I cannot say anything specific because we are in the middle of negotiations. But I can say for sure if this is a fair deal when it comes to an undisputed title unification. One fighter has three belts and the other has one - therefore a 50/50 split sounds fair. It sounds more fair than it should be."

"If Tyson accepts this fair condition, then he is a real warrior and really wants to fight, not only for money, but also for his legacy. Legacy, as well as four belts in the biggest fight in heavyweight history at Wembley Stadium. Why not? End of April, beginning of May, it’s the perfect time."

"But it should be fair. As long as I represent Usyk, I will fight for fair conditions," stated Krassyuk.

Fury and Usyk have their sights set on a face-to-face showdown to determine the undisputed world champion on April 29, scheduled to be held at London's iconic Wembley Stadium. Fury's team is strongly advocating for Usyk to agree to the London venue, as the stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, will not be completed in time for the fight.

Reports have previously suggested that Tyson's camp had entered into discussions with Deontay Wilder as well. In the event that the proposed fight with Oleksandr Usyk falls through, Fury is prepared to face off against the American boxer at Wembley.
