American lightweight prospect (up to 61.2 kg), Keyshawn Davis (11-0, 7 KOs), shared his thoughts on the upcoming fight against Argentine boxer Gustavo Lemos (29-1, 19 KOs).
"You can tell who Top Rank is pushing as their next star. They believe in me. They know I have the full potential, charisma, and talent to achieve that. I'm here to become the next Top Rank star. I'm here to become the heart of Top Rank. They need this, and they believe in me.
Gustavo Lemos is coming to fight. If you haven't seen my last bout against Miguel Madueño, go watch it, because that's exactly how Lemos will fight. You'll enjoy this fight from the first to the tenth round. My last fight was action-packed," Davis said.
The fight between Davis and Lemos will take place on November 8 in Norfolk, Virginia, USA—Keyshawn’s hometown.
For the 25-year-old American, this will be his third fight in 2024, following his stoppage win over José Pedraza (29-6-1, 14 KOs) in February and a unanimous decision victory over Miguel Madueño (31-3, 28 KOs) in July. Gustavo Lemos, in April, lost by unanimous decision to Richardson Hitchins (18-0, 7 KOs).
