Janibek Alimkhanuly Set for Unification Fight with Erislandy Lara – BoxingScene

According to BoxingScene, WBO and IBF middleweight champion Janibek Alimkhanuly will next face WBA titleholder Erislandy Lara in a unification bout.

The fight is expected to take place in December, headlining a Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) pay-per-view card.

In his last outing in April, Alimkhanuly (17-0, 12 KOs) stopped Andualem Ngamisengue via fifth-round TKO.

Veteran Cuban Lara (31-3-3, 19 KOs) last fought in September 2024, when he forced Danny Garcia’s corner to stop the fight after the ninth round.
