Jake Paul favorite to face Joshua – Eddie Hearn

Matchroom Boxing head Eddie Hearn, who represents former heavyweight world champion Anthony Joshua, shared his thoughts on a potential fight between his client and influencer-turned-boxer Jake Paul.

“In this strange world we live in, I believe Jake Paul is the clear favorite in a fight against Anthony Joshua. Right now, I’m in New York for a meeting about this bout. I can’t call it a straightforward one — the whole situation feels odd. I think it’s a very dangerous fight for Jake Paul,” Hearn said.

Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) last fought in September, when he was knocked out in the fifth round by Daniel Dubois.

In June, Jake Paul (12-1, 7 KOs) defeated Julio César Chávez Jr. by unanimous decision.
