Jai Opetaia to Debut in Zuffa Boxing on March 8

30-year-old boxer Jai Opetaia has confirmed that he will return to the ring on March 8 in a show from Zuffa Boxing. The Australian will defend his IBF and The Ring Cruiserweight titles against an opponent to be determined later.

This bout will mark his U.S. debut and will take place at the Meta APEX arena in Las Vegas, which hosted the first Z01 show from Zuffa Boxing. During the tournament, Opetaia held a face-off with the WBC Cruiserweight champion Noel Mikaelian.

“I’m making my Zuffa debut on March 8 here in the (Meta) APEX,” said Opetaia.

In 2025, Opetaia (29-0, 23 KOs) knocked out three opponents, successfully defending his belt.
