Haney’s Father Addressed Gervonta’s Coaches: “Tank is on the List”

The father and trainer of WBO Welterweight champion Devin Haney, Bill, addressed the trainers of WBA Lightweight champion Gervonta Davis.

“Coach Calvin, Coach Kenny, Team Davis—I got good news and bad news. The good news is Devin bought me another Mercedes. Another one.

The bad news is the Grinch didn't buy you one. But Deebo (Devin’s nickname – ed.) is locked in on fighting Tank. He’s on the list,” said Bill Haney.

Haney (33-0, 15 KOs) defeated Brian Norman in his previous bout to become the WBO Welterweight champion. Gervonta Davis (30-0-1, 28 KOs) was supposed to face Jake Paul, but the fight fell through due to his accusations of violent assault against his ex-girlfriend.
