Jaron Ennis Makes First Statement After Lima Fight Announcement

Former unified Welterweight world champion Jaron Ennis has spoken out for the first time about his upcoming fight. On October 11 in Philadelphia, he will face Uisma Lima.

"October 11, I’m back at Wells Fargo Center. Super Welterweight – I’m here… New weight, same goals, the tour continues. Can’t wait. 35-0, 31 KOs soon. They’ve got to see me regardless of all the ‘ifs’ and ‘buts’," Ennis wrote.

The bout between Ennis (34-0, 30 KOs) and Lima (14-1, 10 KOs) will be a WBA Super Welterweight world title eliminator. It will mark Ennis’s debut in the division.
