Eddie Hearn Names Alternative Options for Ennis if Fight with Ortiz Does Not Take Place

Eddie Hearn, head of Matchroom Boxing and promoter of WBA interim Super Welterweight champion Jaron Ennis, spoke about other options for his client if the bout against the WBC interim titleholder in the same division, Vergil Ortiz Jr., does not take place.

Next week we have Kelly fighting Murtazaliev for the world title. Kelly has already signed a contract for a fight with ‘Boots.’ If he wins — and that would be a massive victory for British boxing — you might even see the Kelly vs. ‘Boots’ fight next, or perhaps Murtazaliev, if he secures the victory.
