The 41‑year‑old British heavyweight Derek Chisora has declared his willingness to face undisputed champion Oleksandr Usyk on Ukrainian soil.
“That Ukrainian guy is just toying with us. He’s smoked Tyson twice, Joshua twice, Dubois twice. We’re f*****—we can’t win any war right now. If we go to war with anyone, we’ll just get our asses handed to us.
Look, he boxed brilliantly. He knew exactly what he was doing. I just feel for Daniel. But, you know, the victory was in his hands—and he f***** it up. Simple as that.
If you want to be a killer—hang around killers. That’s all there is to it.
A fight with Usyk? Listen, I’m ready to fight him in Ukraine. I’ll fight him,” Chisora said.
Derek Chisora (36‑13, 23 KOs) last fought in February, defeating Otto Wallin by unanimous decision.
On 19 July Oleksandr Usyk (24‑0, 15 KOs) knocked out Daniel Dubois and claimed the undisputed heavyweight crown (over 90.7 kg). Detailed statistics of the bout are available via the link.
