Daniel Dubois Confirms Split with Don Charles

Former British Heavyweight World Champion Daniel Dubois has confirmed that he is parting ways with his trainer Don Charles.

“I want to take this moment to thank Don Charles and his team for all the time, effort, and hard work they put into me over the past 18 months. I’m truly grateful for everything.

At the same time, I feel the time has come for change — a new approach in the next stage of my career as I move forward to become a two-time Heavyweight World Champion.

God bless. Very soon I’ll be making a new announcement about the structure of my team,” Dubois wrote on Instagram.

On July 19, in his fight for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) was knocked out in the fifth round by Oleksandr Usyk.
