Canelo Makes a Huge Wager on Usyk – Dubois

The undisputed Super-Middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez has shared his prediction for the clash between Ukraine’s Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and Britain’s Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs).

Canelo has installed Usyk as the favorite—and backed up his view with a screenshot of a $500,000 bet on the Ukrainian to win.

“Over the last five years Usyk has beaten the very best. Oleksandr’s stamina is outstanding; he’s highly technical and smart. When I see someone that focused, I put my money on him. That’s why I’ve made a big wager on his victory. Oleksandr, just be yourself!” Alvarez wrote.
