Ben Whittaker Slightly Heavier Than Benjamin Gavazi

On November 29 at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham, United Kingdom, Ben Whittaker will face Benjamin Gavazi for the vacant WBC Silver title at Light Heavyweight (up to 79.4 kg).

At the official weigh-in on the eve of the fight, the fighters came in at:

– Ben Whittaker — 79.28 kg / 174.8 lbs;

– Benjamin Gavazi — 79.15 kg / 174.5 lbs.

As of today, Gavazi (19-1, 13 KOs) is riding a streak of three straight stoppage wins. At the same time, Benjamin last entered the ring in December 2024. Whittaker (9-0-1, 6 KOs) knocked out Liam Cameron in the second round of his previous bout. He then announced that he had signed a deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing.
