Trainer Andy Lee on Parker vs Wardley: “I wouldn’t change a thing”

Andy Lee, trainer of former world heavyweight champion Joseph Parker, says he wouldn’t make any adjustments to their approach in the bout lost to interim WBO champion Fabio Wardley.

“Joe boxed well. He was winning rounds, he just got caught. You can have the best game plan in the world — but there’s a reason they call it ‘the equalizer,’ right? It levels everything. I wouldn’t change anything. I’m just very proud of Joe for all his hard work,” said Lee.
