Murodjon Akhmadaliev’s Next Fight Officially Announced

Matchroom Boxing has officially announced the next fight for super bantamweight WBA Regular champion Murodjon Akhmadaliev (13–1, 10 KOs).

The Uzbek star is set to face Luis Castillo (31–6, 20 KOs) on May 30 in Guadalajara, Mexico.

This will serve as a tune-up fight ahead of Akhmadaliev’s highly anticipated September showdown with undisputed super bantamweight champion Naoya Inoue (30–0, 27 KOs).

In his last outing, Akhmadaliev scored a third-round TKO over Ricardo Espinoza Franco in December.
