On September 13 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, the main prelim bout of the Saul Alvarez vs Terence Crawford card featured 30-year-old Ukrainian Serhii Bohachuk (26-4, 24 KOs) against 36-year-old American Brandon Adams (26-4, 16 KOs).

The 10-round fight ended with Adams winning by unanimous decision: 99-91 and twice 98-92.

This was a rematch. In their first meeting back in 2021, Bohachuk was knocked out by Adams, who handed the Ukrainian his first career defeat — even though at the time of the stoppage Bohachuk was ahead on two scorecards, 68-64 and 69-63.
