Deontay Wilder Knocks Out Herndon

On 27 June in the United States, former WBC Heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KO) met Tyrrell Herndon (24-6, 15 KO).

Wilder dropped his opponent in rounds 2 and 6, and midway through the seventh the referee stepped in—TKO 7.

It’s Wilder’s first win since 2022, when he starched Robert Helenius in the opening round. The defeat ends Herndon’s three-fight winning streak.
